What I think about this blogging project..

First of all, I appriciate the opportunity. Through this projet, I could start to express my orinion with computer, I mean in a natural way in this technological society... I believe this is very good way to get used to use English in ordinaly days. And it's fun to see the other people's onion, comments, pics etc... But I don't actually think I improved my writing through thei blogging. My writing has improved for sure through the essays that we had in school, but not in this blogging. This is becase blogging is more casual way to enjoy using language through changing ideas! So, I liked this project in the point of enjoying English, but we can't expect people improve writing from this.

Advertisement is everywhere!

After I read the article, 'Nywhere the Eye can See~ ', I found that we are surrounded by bunch of advertisement. Everything in a city we can see is advertising something. And also the number of advertising is increasing compared to the past. Futhermore, many people are working for finding the place for advertising in cities.
What I was surprised before is that I saw a screen on the ground which show many advertisements swicthing every single minutes... I forgot the place where I found.. maybe in Tokyo .. I am not sure, anyway everywhere especially in big cities, we can't stop seeing advertisements... that's scary! Without any countiouseness, people are seduced by these emvironments even they don't want to.
Some advertisements like a screen builiding are interesting to see when you wanna stop your waliking in city, however, I personaly don't like to see too much advertisement which gives me kind of headache.

Researcrh Paper

What I leaned from the paper are.. how to collect informations for writing a paper, how to praphrase sentence, and the way to write referencwe list. All of them are so useful for me for the future and my university life as well.
I learned not to plagiarize the other paper. I found the act of avoiding to steal the oher opinion is quite important.
After finishing this paper, I felt that I did something really precious. I leaned a lot through this project including time management, and how to use many sourses in one paper. I hope I can have chance to write this kind of paper in my university life again. I mean, not in near future... after I go back to my uni... maybe!

Lecture about Management

The lecture we had today was incredible... I could have clear thinking how people manage many tasks in organization and communty including schools and companies. Before I attended today's lecture,I had no idea what the management is because my study field is totally different from this topic.

The only thing I couldn't get satisfied with the lecture is that the lecturer, John didn't mention enough about the point of the exact strategy, how business people use the ideas about universal traits in reality.

I just wondered it might depend on the culture how people can be succesful in business or not for the reason that different culture have different way of communication in business fireld even though he pointed out the universal traits have influence on management. I am sorry that he didn't focus on it a lot in the lecture.

I really appriciate the opportunity to have attended this lecture, which brought me valuable interetst in business field...

My reseach paper

I have 5 pages of my research paper now. The only thing I am trying to do from now is to keep writing. I think I have enough information ... if I need more information it will be some articles about the bilingual education system in monolingual culture. When I am writing the paper, I feel like the more I write the worse the quority is going to be... but I think I need to continue. And I will organise the whole paper after I finish writing.

How I leant how to write

I remember when I started to write the basic Japanese characters called Hiragana. It was when I was… maybe more or less 4 yrs old in daycare center I was going. Maybe I leaned how to write them from my mother or my father, and I really enjoyed exchanging letters with my friends. The letters were even like a sentence but instead it included drawings and graffiti which I just put my name and my friends’ name on paper.

Next step was after I entered elementary school, I started learn how to write three kinds of Japanese characters which are Hiragana, Katakana, and Chinese characters. I can understand people from different background are often surprised to see my writings in Japanese because I use three different kinds of characters at the same time but they establish my language. The first time I learned how to write my name in Chinese characters, I was so happy and I showed them everyone I met. I was such a kid who liked to write letters on everything.

For me, it was quite hard to keep practicing learning Chinese characters because they are uncountable … I still have bunch of characters that I can’t write in my own language.

Happy New Year for those who celeblate the new year in this season!

I didn't know that poeple in China , Korea, and some Asian countries have celablation in Feburary before I came here ! hehe

Me, I say 'Happy New Year' only in January 1st in my country. However I am so happy that I can say that twice in this year!

I heard that in Korea, babies who are born in this pig year are belived to bring lots of fotune and happiness to family, so many women try to have baby in this year! It sounds so interesting to me! Is it true, Jeoung Hwan?
